�鶹��ý���� presents the East Coast premiere of the opera “Loksi’ Shaali’ (Shell Shaker),” the first opera composed by a Chickasaw in their native language.

The Career Development Center at �鶹��ý���� held a three-day immersive Sophomore Institute to prepare students who are starting their journeys in the professional world.

�鶹��ý���� held a panel discussion “Trans Health Care Is a Human Right: On Safeguarding Gender-Affirming Care After United States v. Skrmetti.” Speakers discussed the case and its impact on transgender and gender-diverse people.

Siggy Ehrlich ’26 recently worked on and attended a �鶹��ý���� symposium celebrating composer Maria Theresia von Paradis.

Before his Dec. 3 talk at �鶹��ý����, award-winning author, journalist and professor Moustafa Bayoumi spoke about the most recent presidential election and why his book “How Does It Feel to Be a Problem?” is still relevant.

The annual weekend-long event, which welcomes the families and friends of students to the �鶹��ý���� campus, showcased a variety of events and programming, from a panel Q&A with College leadership to a Fall Fest celebration.

In front of a packed crowd in Mount Holyoke’s Gamble Auditorium, a panel of legal scholars and political experts discussed what we could expect not only from the upcoming presidential election but also from more hyper-focused local races.

Artist Harmonia Rosales spoke at the �鶹��ý���� Art Museum about her work, including her painting “The Harvest.”

Prentis Hemphill ’04 will be at �鶹��ý���� to discuss their book “What It Takes To Heal.” The book poses the question: ““What would it do to movements, to our society and culture, to have the principles of healing at the very center?”

Taking part in a two-day workshop featuring alums, staff and current interns, �鶹��ý���� students had the opportunity to learn what a career in environmental work entails and how to get on the right track to start their own journeys.
