Applicants are advised to submit听2-3 courses on their application for credit form听for faculty assessment听credit in case of course cancellation or changes.听

Credit Equivalent听

3 Credits = 2 UQ听Units. Maximum of 2 UQ听Units upon successful completion of 3 credits over the 3-week session or maximum of 4 UQ听Units upon successful completion of at least 6 credits (comprised of one 4-week course and one 3-week course) over the 4-week session (pending UQ faculty approval).

The 6-Week Track impacts UQ semester 2 teaching dates. UQ students must meet the additional听special conditions, including a CGPA 4.5, for programs that impact teaching dates.

If you are intending to undertake your experience for-credit, it is strongly recommended that you submit your application to the Global Experiences team at least 4 weeks before applying to the host to allow sufficient time for Faculty to complete the credit assessment. Please note however that it is your responsibility to meet the host application deadline. 听

Cost

The participation mode of this experience is听Study Abroad, meaning you will pay tuition fees directly to the host.

The program fee is approximately AUD $1,900 - $3,200 depending on the number of courses taken, and an application fee of approximately AUD $100 will apply. A number of are included as part of the program. Detailed information regarding听program听fees听and inclusions听can be found on the听听

Note an early bird discount听of approximately $100 AUD is available to students who apply and pay before 30 September 2026.听
