Recruitment Essentials Day S2 2026 (St Lucia - Summer Break)
This action-packed, one-day program is designed to demystify the recruitment process. We'll dive deep into the essentials, covering every critical step: from navigating job opportunities and mastering cover letters and鈥痳esumes to nailing those interviews!
You'll also get to hear from industry experts who are eager to share their experiences and top tips.
At Recruitment Essentials Day, you'll:

- Improve your existing resume, so you can beat Applicant Tracking Systems and put your best foot forward
- Sharpen your interview skills, so you can confidently tackle questions that come your way
- Network with career development experts, enrichment staff, and your peers to create valuable connections that could help shape your future!

- To ensure the best experience for everyone please arrive at 8:30am for a鈥�9:00am firm start. This will give you time to prepare and connect with fellow peers before the session starts.鈥疘f you find yourself running behind schedule, please get in touch with us at鈥�careers@uq.edu.au
- Remember to bring your laptop, laptop charger AND a current resume, either digital or printed.

You must arrive before 9am to be admitted as late arrivals will be marked absent and not permitted for entry.
If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration via your Studenthub dashboard or email careers@uq.edu.au鈥痓efore the event starts to avoid being marked absent.
